About Us

 What are extended services?

Extended services are activities for pupils, their families and others living in the community, which take place in and around the local schools, often once the school day has finished. Services can include homework clubs, parenting support and childcare.

Schools work with other local schools and organisations, such as youth groups and childcare providers, to provide a core offer of services. Our aim is to give children and young people the support they need to achieve their full potential and to help families and the local community get access to local services, from 8am to 6pm, 48 weeks a year, including school holidays.
